SR. PLANNING TECHNICIAN

OverviewTo work with maintenance planning section in developing scheduled, effective maintenance programmes and processes for QatarEnergy Refinery, Tank farms and Chemical Plant to minimize impact on production and to maximize the Reliability of plant assets.Experience8 years of maintenance experience in Petroleum Refinery/ Oil & Gas/ or Petrochemical IndustryMust have relevant experience in the field of routine Maintenance PlanningKnowledge and understands the maintenance processes and proper use of the work order system, planning and scheduling processes.Have adequate craft knowledge and skill to accurately estimate labour hours, material requirement and skills needed to complete a job. Must have a demonstrated ability to visualize and communicate the execution of work.Demonstrated ability to read standard blueprints, process, machine, and other technical drawings.Must have relevant experience in the field of Shutdown & Turnaround Planning.Must have relevant experience in Computerized Maintenance Management System (SAP or similar), and Planning & Scheduling software. (Primavera and Microsoft Project)Should have good written and verbal communications skills and have demonstrated the ability to be approachable and tactful.QualificationsCompletion of Secondary (12 years) education, technical diploma/trade certificate followed by formal training in the use of Computerized Maintenance Management System and planning software.#J-18808-Ljbffr
