About the job Sr Piping/Welding InspectorJob Description: Senior Piping/Welding Inspector (Offshore)Job Title: Senior Piping/Welding Inspector (Offshore)Project Duration: Minimum 1 year (extendable based on performance and project requirements).Deployment: Within a month / 40 days.Rotation: 30 days on / 14 days off.Location: Offshore, Qatar.Key Responsibilities:Conduct inspections of piping fabrication, installation, and welding activities to ensure compliance with project codes and standards.Monitor welding procedures, welder qualifications, and all aspects of piping system integrity.Verify that all piping and welding activities adhere strictly to Qatargas Specifications.Perform visual and dimensional inspections and review related documentation.Report on quality compliance and non-conformances.Mandatory Requirements & Qualifications:Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in piping/welding inspection, with direct experience working to Qatargas Specifications.Mandatory Certification:CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspector certification or an accepted alternative.Preferred Certifications (Advantageous):Coating Certification (e.g., BGAS, NACE).NDT Certification.Must possess or be able to obtain mandatory offshore safety certifications:#J-18808-Ljbffr
