Job TitleSenior Mechanical EngineerLocationSaudi ArabiaWork Schedule5 Days per Week | 8 Hours per DayPosition OverviewThe Senior Mechanical Engineer will provide advanced technical expertise and leadership in mechanical engineering (Static Equipment and/or Piping) for a major onshore oilfield redevelopment project. The role requires extensive experience across all project phases, including concept development, FEED, detailed design, EPIC, commissioning, and operational support.The candidate will ensure engineering excellence while maintaining compliance with project specifications, company standards, industry regulations, cost targets, schedules, and HSE requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesEngineering & Technical LeadershipDeliver mechanical engineering design and technical support for assigned project scopes.Ensure compliance with company procedures related to quality, cost, schedule, and HSE.Lead and review engineering calculations, specifications, datasheets, and technical documentation.Provide expert-level input in either Static Equipment or Piping discipline.Review and approve vendor documents and technical submittals.Project Execution & DesignExecute mechanical engineering activities across all project phases:Concept DevelopmentFeasibility StudiesFEED (Front End Engineering Design)Detailed DesignEPICCommissioning & Start-upConduct in-house and on-site engineering surveys and technical assessments.Provide technical support during construction, installation, pre-commissioning, and commissioning phases.Participate in HAZOP, design reviews, and technical workshops.Project Management & CoordinationManage time, cost, and quality deliverables within allocated scope.Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including process, civil, electrical, instrumentation, and project controls.Support procurement activities including vendor evaluations and technical bid analysis.Assist in resolving technical issues during project execution and operations.Operational & Field SupportProvide troubleshooting support for operational mechanical systems.Identify improvement opportunities for reliability, safety, and performance optimization.Support brownfield modifications and tie-in activities.Essential QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Mandatory)Chartered Engineer (CEng) or Professional Engineer (PE) status preferredMinimum 15+ years of experience in the Oil & Gas industryStrong background in Static Equipment and/or Piping EngineeringDemonstrated experience in onshore oilfield projects#J-18808-Ljbffr
