With end-to-end capabilities spanning design, development, testing, manufacturing, and assembly, HALCON is trusted for delivering exceptional quality, competitive pricing, and agile solutions that meet the evolving demands of global defense and aerospace industries.Job SummaryAs a Specialist - Demand Planning, you will play a critical role in managing the aggregation of the demand plan process across product categories and Business units, producing a rolling estimate of unconstrained future demand in units. Work closely with Sales and engineering on planning/executing the activation and ramp-up for new products as well. Manage operations planning, control and manage operational parameters and provide production and material status communications while continuously planning and prioritizing resources to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay.Key AccountabilitiesTo aggregate the demand plan across product categories and Business units, producing a rolling estimate of unconstrained future demand in units.Conduct rough cut capacity and scenario planning to be able to validate and present data and analytics to facilitate decision making.Manage, modify and adapt the master production plan due to engineering changes and material shortages.Prepare data and material for monthly Demand and Operations planning meetings that will facilitate decisions around equipment, labor and all other resources needed to support demand over the planning horizon.Serves as primary point of contact for and liaison with Program, engineering, SCM and Manufacturing department.Ensure the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System is aligned and provided real time data for demand fulfilment. To be able to use SAP APO/IBP for demand planning.Ensure Business units are aligned with the master production plan to ensure accurate material resource planning (MRP).Work closely with Procurement, Manufacturing, and Logistics; Distribution to evaluate the demand/production plan against inventory, capacity and external factors and to create mitigation actions if needed.Analyse and provide insights on supply and demand constraints, potential risks and opportunities, and inventory optimization.Compile monthly KPI’s through metrics and system data from various departments.Qualifications & ExperienceExperience: 12-15 years in demand planning and scheduling multiple projects with a strong SAP background.Education: Master's Degree (Preferred) but Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field (Required)Skills: Advanced Planning and Organization, Time and Process Management, Problem-Solving Abilities/Troubleshooting.Systems: Expertise in MRP and ERP systems.Language: Fluent in English.Preferred: 10+ years of industry-specific and regional specific experience in project planning and scheduling expertise.#J-18808-Ljbffr
