Job Description

Our client is a Mediterranean cuisine restaurant based in Sharjah and they are hiring a Sous Chef.What will you do?Overall running of the kitchen, cleanliness, and organizationExecute all dishes in a timely manner and according to brand standardsMaintain the inventory and cost control by planning menus with quality ingredients within the budgetary restrictionsLead and develop the BOH teamDemonstrate strong knowledge of the menu, ingredients, seasons, and suppliersAssist the Head Chef with administrative duties as well as supplier relations and sourcing of high‑quality ingredientsWhat are we looking for?Minimum 2 years experience in Mediterranean/Italian upscale restaurantMust have a bachelor's degree or diploma certificate in a relevant field.Great communication and interpersonal skillsKnowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, and proceduresUp to date with the latest trends in the F&B industry regionally and globallyGreat knowledge of HACCPKnowledge of MS Office and restaurant POS systemsA peoples person with the ability to manage a multicultural kitchenHigh level of leadership, planning, decision‑making, and management skills#J-18808-Ljbffr
