Job DescriptionThe Solutions Architect (Joget Low-Code Platform) is responsible for designing, implementing, and governing business solutions developed using the Joget low-code platform, including both configuration-based and custom-built components. The role focuses on translating business requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions that align with GCGRA’s enterprise architecture, governance standards, and regulatory context.The role requires strong expertise in Joget platform capabilities, extensibility mechanisms, and integration patterns, as well as the ability to design and develop custom solutions beyond out-of-the-box low-code functionality when required. The Solutions Architect works closely with business stakeholders, application teams, and external vendors to ensure effective delivery and long-term sustainability of digital solutions.ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement business solutions using the Joget low-code platform, ensuring alignment with functional requirements, architectural standards, and governance frameworks.Translate business processes and requirements into Joget workflows, forms, user interfaces, and application components.Design and develop custom extensions, plugins, and integrations where Joget out-of-the-box functionality is insufficient to meet business or regulatory needs.Define solution architectures, data models, integration approaches, and deployment patterns for Joget-based applications.Integrate Joget solutions with enterprise systems, databases, APIs, and external platforms.Review and validate technical designs, configurations, and custom code to ensure quality, security, and maintainability.Support application lifecycle activities, including testing, deployment, release management, and production support.Ensure solutions comply with defined security, access control, logging, and audit requirements.Collaborate with application managers, business stakeholders, and vendors to ensure effective solution delivery.Maintain solution documentation, architecture diagrams, and technical specifications.Stay current with Joget platform capabilities, best practices, and low-code development trends.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 5–8 years of experience in application development or solution architecture roles.Strong hands‑on experience with the Joget low‑code platform, including workflow design, form development, and application configuration.Demonstrated experience developing custom code, plugins, or extensions alongside low-code solutions.Experience integrating low-code platforms with enterprise systems using APIs, databases, and messaging mechanisms.Understanding of application architecture principles, data modelling, and integration patterns.Familiarity with secure development practices, access control, and audit requirements.Ability to engage with business stakeholders and translate requirements into technical solutions.Strong documentation, problem‑solving, and communication skills.Core Technical CompetenciesApplies IT and cloud technologies independently within a defined scope to design and deliver technology solutions.Applies information security principles and implements established security controls and procedures.Applies defined physical and operational security controls relevant to systems and environments.Applies data handling, data protection, and data integrity requirements in accordance with established procedures.Applies application and system architecture principles and adheres to defined standards and guidance.Applies regulatory, compliance, and assurance requirements within defined frameworks.Applies specialist technical knowledge related to gaming systems and technologies within defined frameworks.Communicates effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver assigned outcomes.Operates within established governance, delivery, and compliance frameworks and applies defined processes.Leadership & Behavioural ExpectationsDemonstrates accountability for assigned deliverables and ensures work is completed to agreed standards and timelines.Works collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders to achieve shared objectives.Demonstrates adaptability and continuous learning in response to changing requirements and technologies.Acts with integrity and professionalism and adheres to organisational policies, confidentiality, and ethical standards.About UsThe General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority (GCGRA) is the federal executive agency responsible for regulating and overseeing commercial gaming in the United Arab Emirates.
