Site Supervisor

HAALA Energy is a Saudi solar PV installer and developer based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. We design, build, and maintain solar projects for commercial and industrial clients.Specializing in distributed commercial-scale solar PV, we develop turn‑key peak‑shaving and hybrid solutions to help clients reduce their energy costs.Our services include engineering design, procurement, construction management, operation & maintenance, and development of PV systems. We also assist clients with feasibility studies, energy cost analysis and project finance.The main responsibilities of the Site Supervisor:The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day‑to‑day activities on solar project sites, ensuring that construction works are executed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with design specifications and quality standards. The role includes close coordination with project engineers, project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.The successful candidate will oversee all site activities from mobilization to commissioning and will be expected to proactively solve problems that arise during construction.Typical job functions include:Site Management & SupervisionSupervising installation teams and subcontractors on siteEnsuring work is carried out according to drawings, specifications, and safety proceduresMonitoring daily progress and ensuring construction schedules are followedOrganizing and leading daily toolbox talks and coordination meetingsHealth, Safety & Environment (HSE)Enforcing site safety rules and PPE requirementsIdentifying and reporting hazards and implementing corrective actionsEnsuring compliance with company and client HSE policiesQuality ControlInspecting workmanship and materials delivered to siteEnsuring installation quality in accordance with standards and manufacturer requirementsReporting and rectifying non‑conformancesCoordination & CommunicationLiaising with project engineers and project managersCoordinating site logistics, manpower, and delivery of materialsActing as primary point of contact on site for subcontractors and suppliersSupporting testing, commissioning, and handover activitiesReporting & DocumentationPreparing daily and weekly site progress reportsMaintaining site records, checklists, and as‑built updatesTracking material usage and inventory on siteIn addition to the above, the Site Supervisor is expected to coordinate and work effectively with other members of the team, and to assist with furthering the goals of the company in general, even where this may involve work that is not strictly related to their day‑to‑day responsibilities.Potential candidates should have:Diploma in Electrical or a related technical field4‑8 years of experience in construction or site supervision (preferably solar PV)Strong knowledge of on‑site safety practices and construction proceduresAbility to read drawings and interpret technical documentsGood command of English and Arabic for communication with teams, clients, and subcontractorsConfidence taking responsibility and working independently on active project sitesStrong leadership and team coordination skillsAttention to detail and commitment to high quality standardsWillingness to travel to project sites as requiredIn addition, the following attributes would be an advantage:Experience in installation of rooftop or ground‑mounted PV systemsKnowledge of electrical installation practices and standardsFamiliarity with testing and commissioning of PV systemsExperience preparing site reports and documentationKnowledge of AutoCAD or basic solar design/simulation software#J-18808-Ljbffr
