About the RoleKey roles and responsibilities:Lead the coordination process with other disciplines.Assist the Resident Engineer in performing the contractual duties on site.Processing of contract documents & assist contract administration.Develops modifies and reviews production drawings and construction documents.Corrects and updates design documents.Serves as an architectural resource for the Design department.Provides resolution for technical engineering problems within the assigned discipline(s); coordinates application of solutions to ensure progress on site.Advise the project manager of any technical aspects of the architectural works that may affect construction progress quality and the like.Hands on in monitoring the interior architectural works for conformance with the provisions of the contract documents and the procedures manual.Reviewing and processing all shop drawings and architectural technical submittals.Answering RFIs related to interior and architecture.Review construction submittals from project inception to closeout.Review Contractors installation method statements.Review Contractors shop drawings against the design tender drawings for compliance with the design intent and return to project manager with appropriate comments / approval.Review Contractors material proposals against specified technical performance requirements and advise the Project Manager on the appropriateness of the proposals.Review Contractors proposed sub contractor(s) associated with the engineering works from a technical standpoint.Monitors procurement and deliveries to ensure timeliness in support of construction activities and schedule within the assigned discipline.Undertake general project site observation / inspection of the works for Contractors adherence to the approved shop drawings and Consultants specification good working practices the construction schedule and health & safety.Lead the snagging and desnagging process with an aim to progress the works to completion through this process.Attend project site progress and any related technical meetings as directed by the project manager.Prepare draft site / engineers instructions relating to the project as required and issue to the Project Manager.Prepare draft site / engineers instructions relating to the project as required and issue to the Project Manager.Provide advice to the Project Manager in regard to any variation costs that may be claimed by the Contractor during the course of the works.Oversee architects and inspectors for all architectural work and ensure that installation activities comply with contractual obligations and quality control standards.Ensures that the project quality control procedures are used for the construction supervision works and monitors it for improvement.Collaborates with construction management to eliminate any hazards associated with the work that may adversely affect the environment or the safety or health of employees.Reviews and interprets discipline design drawings and specifications to ensure current revision level and correct technical of the work.Performs works inspection requests and material inspection requests as required to support juniors.Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.Technical skills and experience required:Degree in Architecture or related field.Min of 8-10 years postgraduate experience and a min of 5 years of similar work experience on large projects.Strong technical knowledge with the ability to resolve design issues on site.Computer proficiency is required; Must be proficient in AutoCAD Revit Sketchup or 3D MAX Photoshop MS project or Primavera Power Point and basic office suite.Good knowledge of the building codes.Authority registration is preferred.A professional who can manage and coordinate specialized activity discipline or team of moderate size and complexity.UAE Driving License.Our commitment to youCommitment is a powerful word that defines how we do business how we serve our clients and how we care for one another.
