Senior Structural Engineer - Site

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi United Arab Emirates. In this role you will be responsible for overseeing structural engineering projects onsite ensuring the highest standards of quality safety and efficiency in our construction projects. Decision maker with both design and supervision experience is required.Lead and manage structural engineering aspects of complex construction projects from design to completionConduct onsite structural inspections and assessments to ensure compliance with design specifications and local building codesDevelop and review structural designs calculations and drawings for various building types and infrastructure projectsCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams including architects contractors and other engineers to resolve technical issues and optimize project outcomesProvide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team membersEnsure adherence to project timelines budgets and quality standardsPrepare and present technical reports structural analyses and recommendations to clients and stakeholdersStay updated on industry trends innovative construction techniques and local building regulationsImplement and maintain safety protocols on construction sitesParticipate in business development activities and client meetings as neededQualificationsBachelors degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering (Masters degree preferred)Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalentRelevant structural engineering certifications (e.g. Chartered Engineer)Minimum 10 years of experience in structural engineering with a focus on onsite rolesAdvanced knowledge of structural engineering principles and practicesProficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g. SAP2000 ETABSIndepth understanding of building codes and standards (e.g. Eurocode ACI AISC)Strong project management skills and ability to lead multidisciplinary teamsExcellent communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to present complex technical information clearlyProven experience in construction supervision and onsite problemsolvingFamiliarity with local building regulations and standards in the UAEKnowledge of construction methods materials and geotechnical engineering principlesDetailoriented approach with a strong commitment to quality and safetyAbility to work efficiently in a fastpaced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyWillingness to travel to various construction sites as requiredRemote WorkNoEmployment TypeFulltime#J-18808-Ljbffr
