Senior Structural Engineer (Design)

ResponsibilitiesDevelop and oversee structural designs for a wide range of projects including commercial residential and mixed use structuresPerform advanced structural analysis and calculations to ensure the integrity and safety of designsUtilize cutting-edge structural analysis and design software to optimize project outcomesCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate structural designs with architectural and MEP systemsManage project timelines budgets and resources to ensure successful project deliveryMentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to the structural engineering teamEnsure compliance with local and international building codes and standardsDevelop and review technical reports specifications and construction documentsConduct site visits to assess existing structures and monitor construction progressStay updated on industry trends emerging technologies and sustainable design practicesQualificationsBachelors degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering (Masters degree preferred)Professional Engineering (PE) license required; Structural Engineering (SE) license preferredMinimum of 8-10 years of experience in structural engineering with a focus on complex projectsAdvanced knowledge of structural engineering principles and practicesProficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g. SAP2000 ETABS )Expertise in regional building codes and standardsStrong mathematical and problem‑solving skillsExcellent technical writing and communication skillsProficiency in AutoCAD and 3D modeling softwareExpertise in seismic design and analysisKnowledge of sustainable design practices and green building standardsAbility to work effectively in a multicultural environmentWillingness to travel to project sites as neededAdditional InformationAbout AECOMAECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
