Senior Structural Engineer - Bridges/Underpasses - Site Supervision

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Structural Engineer specializing in Bridges and Underpasses to join our team in Dubai United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our Supervision team you will play a crucial role in the construction supervision of major roadway projects including new highways interchanges and the upgrading/rehabilitation of existing roads.ResponsibilitiesFamiliar with the Construction of Box Girder Bridges in UAE/ DubaiComprehensive knowledge of RTA specificationsSupervise and mentor junior engineers providing technical guidance and fostering a collaborative work environmentFollow up set inspection for installations and review inspectors performance on a regular basis.Coordinate with the project managers to resolve technical issues and optimize solutionsConduct site visits to assess construction progress and address any structural concernsCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of structural elements with other project componentsStay updated on the latest industry trends technologies and best practices in bridge and underpass engineeringPrepare and present technical reports and recommendations to clients and stakeholdersEnsure project deliverables meet quality standards and are completed within budget and schedule constraintsQualificationsBachelors degree in Structural or Civil Engineering; advanced degree preferredMinimum of 12 years of experience in structural engineering with a focus on bridges and underpasses (Cut & Cover)Comprehensive knowledge of RTA specifications and familiarity with Construction of Box Girder Bridges in UAE/DubaiStrong understanding of international bridge design codes and standardsDemonstrated experience in developing QA/QC procedures for inspections and test plansExcellent project management skills including the ability to lead a small teamStrong analytical and problemsolving skills with meticulous attention to detailOutstanding communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teamsFamiliarity with local construction practices and regulations in the UAERTA PreApproval is highly desirableMiddle East or UAE/Dubai experience preferredProfessional engineering license or equivalent certification is a plusAdditional InformationAbout AECOMAECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
