We’re bridging two worlds, moving towards more sustainable energy sources, while helping to provide the energy, chemicals and resources needed now.About the jobPurposeResponsible for establishing, configuring, customizing, and administering SmartPlant Foundation (SPF) environments to support multi‑discipline engineering projects. The role ensures reliable, high-quality engineering data management, seamless integration with Hexagon authoring tools including Smart 3D, Smart P&ID, Smart Instrumentation & Smart Electrical, and effective delivery of project information across the full project lifecycle—from setup through handover. Acting as a key digital execution role, the SPF Administrator bridges engineering disciplines, IT systems, and client stakeholders to enable consistent, governed, and timely data delivery.Key AccountabilitiesSetup, configuration, and administration of SmartPlant Foundation environments from project initiation through close-out.Delivery of project‑specific SPF configurations that meet engineering, project, and client requirements.Integration of SPF with Hexagon authoring tools and data sources to enable data centric delivery with data flow and integrity.Assurance of SPF system performance, availability, and data quality throughout the project lifecycle.Effective collaboration with engineering disciplines, internal teams, and client stakeholders.Development and maintenance of complete technical documentation including SPF implementation plan and procedure.Enablement of users through training, support, and knowledge transfer.ResponsibilitiesSetup, configure, and maintain SmartPlant Foundation environments based on project requirements including defining data model and workflows.Customize SPF modules, schemas, and configurations to support project‑specific needs.Integrate SPF with Hexagon SmartPlant tools including S3D, SPID, SI & SEL, authoring domains, and maintaining SPF as CDE for data‑centric delivery.Develop and configure project-specific reports, queries to support project data quality and maturity progress management.Configure and maintain Authoring Domains for various deliverables including equipment list and equipment datasheets.Apply deep knowledge of SPF schema configuration, including classes, data exchange agreements, interfaces, UID mapping, and relationships.Configure and manage tag‑to‑document associations within SPF.Support publishing and retrieving from and to Hexagon authoring tools.Configure and manage the Data Capture module, including handling of non‑intelligent documents.Oversee SPF database and system performance including Oracle / MS SQL environments.Monitor server resources, perform routine maintenance, and troubleshoot performance or stability issues to ensure a robust and optimized system.Coordinate with project engineering disciplines to define data requirement and workflows.Ensure SPF configurations support multi‑discipline engineering execution and align with project schedules and deliverables.Develop training materials and user guides, and conduct training sessions for project users.Liaise with client representatives and internal stakeholders to gather requirements, manage expectations, and ensure successful delivery of SPF‑related scope.What You Will BringTechnical and Industry ExperienceBachelor’s Degree in Engineering or an equivalent.Demonstrated experience in managing multi‑discipline design systems in large‑scale projects.People SkillsStrong ability to inform and persuade on complex matters through the preparation and delivery of proposals, presentations, and reports, as well as effective collaboration with stakeholders and management.Moving forward togetherWe’re committed to building a diverse, inclusive and respectful workplace where everyone feels they belong, can bring themselves, and are heard.
