Each and every member of the GBS family plays an integral role in driving ADCB's strategy, growth and digital evolution by working closely with our valued business partners to achieve exceptional customer experience through our outstanding service and support.We are actively seeking an ambitious professional to join our team at ADCB to work alongside passionate colleagues who share your ambition to redefine excellence in UAE banking.In this role, your key responsibilities include:Develop and Implement advanced data science solutions to support the organization’s AI strategyLead the design and execution of analytical models, ensuring data integrity, scalability, and relevance to business objectivesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex data into actionable insights, and contribute to the structuring of AI-related roles and capabilities through evidence-based workforce planning and job designDrive the design and deployment of advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI)/Machine Learning (ML) models to optimize core banking operations, enhance digital customer journeys, and support strategic decision-makingBuild and maintain robust machine learning pipelines using Azure AI Foundry or AWS SageMaker, ensuring scalability, automation, and seamless integration with cloud-native servicesDevelop and fine-tune generative AI models, including RAG and agentic workflows, leveraging cutting-edge techniques like Low-Rank Adaptation (LoRA), Parameter-efficient fine-tuning (PEFT), and multimodal architecturesDesign and execute complex experimental frameworks, including A/B testing, to derive actionable insights and validate model performance with statistical inferenceWork closely with software and data engineers to implement version-controlled, containerized (Docker) solutions, and Continuous Integration (CI)/Continuous Deployment (CD) pipelines for efficient model deploymentDefine and enforce documentation standards, coding practices, and reproducibility protocols to ensure consistency and quality across all data science projectsMonitor and evaluate model performance using Machine Learning Operations (MLOps) and Large Language Models (LLMs) specific metrics (e.g., Bilingual Evaluation Understudy (BLEU), ROUGE), ensuring transparency, fairness, and continuous improvement of Artificial Intelligence (AI) systemsStrong knowledge of banking operations and terminologiesAnalyses complex banking products and services for facilitating decision-makingAdhere to all relevant organisational and departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out to the required standard and in a consistent manner while delivering the required standard of service to customers and stakeholdersManage self in line with the Bank’s people management policies, procedures, processes and practices to ensure adherence and to maximise own contribution to business performanceDemonstrate Our Promise and apply the ADCB Service Standards to deliver the Bank’s required levels of service in all internal and external customer interactionsThe ideal candidate should have the following experience:Minimum 5 years of experience in data science, with proven expertise in AI/ML, statistical modelling, and cloud-based deploymentsStrong background in banking processes, generative AI, and Machine Learning Operations (MLOps)Experience leading cross-functional teams and delivering scalable, production-grade solutions in a regulated, data-driven environmentBachelor’s degree in quantitative field such as Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics or related field requiredMaster’s degree or equivalent in AI/ML is preferredAdvanced Python for AI/ML development and data manipulationStrong statistical expertise and experimental design (A/B testing, inference)Experience with ML models (transformers, RNNs), GenAI, and agentic workflowsSkilled in fine-tuning LLMs using LoRA, PEFT, and evaluating with BLEU/ROUGEProficient in building ML pipelines on Azure AI Foundry or AWS SageMakerFamiliar with cloud services (Azure/AWS), serverless deployments, and MLOps toolsStrong data visualization skills (Tableau, Power BI) with UX-focused designEffective collaboration with engineering teams and cross-functional stakeholdersKnowledge of CI/CD, containerization, and documentation standardsActive learner with awareness of emerging AI trends and technologiesWhat we offer:Comprehensive Benefits
