Senior Solution Architect

Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Senior Solution Architect to lead the design and development of secure, scalable, and high-performance digital platforms. The role requires deep technical expertise, strong leadership capabilities, and a solution-driven mindset to design enterprise-grade systems that balance functional requirements, customer experience, performance, reliability, resilience, and security.The Senior Architect will report directly to the Head of Architecture and work in a matrix structure with Delivery Heads and Functional Leads to ensure architectural alignment with business and domain objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and deliver end-to-end architecture solutions aligned with enterprise standards and domain requirements.Lead the design of mobile-first banking platforms and digital applications built on microservices and API-driven ecosystems.Create and maintain architecture standards, best practices, and design guidelines across engineering teams.Evaluate technology options and recommend optimal architecture patterns, frameworks, and platforms.Ensure solutions meet performance, scalability, resiliency, and security requirements.Architect and support digital banking capabilities such as:Payments and transfers (local, international, P2P)Personal finance managementBiometric authenticationTrading and investment featuresParticipate in or lead multiple architecture initiatives for mobile application platforms integrated with enterprise systems.Security & ComplianceEnsure solutions comply with security standards and regulatory frameworks including:PCI-DSSUAE Central Bank regulationsGDPR and global compliance requirementsImplement cybersecurity controls such as:Authentication and authorization frameworksEncryption and key managementData protection and classificationSecurity monitoring, logging, and alertingConduct threat modeling and security design reviews during the architecture phase.Design microservices-based systems with robust API management and integration frameworks.Develop high-level architecture diagrams (HLDs) and guide implementation teams through solution design.Ensure seamless integration across mobile platforms, backend systems, and external services.AI & Emerging Technologies (Good to Have)Apply knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI technologies such as:Chatbots and conversational AIRetrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)Vector databases and embedding modelsAI agents and agentic AI frameworksExplore opportunities to integrate AI-driven capabilities into digital banking solutions.Workflow & Decision SystemsWork with workflow management platforms such as IBM BPM or Node.js-based workflow frameworks.Contribute to the design of decision engines and rule-based systems used within digital platforms.Work closely with delivery leads, engineering teams, and product stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.Participate in Agile development processes, ensuring architectural alignment throughout the delivery lifecycle.Guide development teams on architecture best practices and ensure adherence to design principles.Required Technical SkillsStrong expertise in enterprise architecture and system designHands-on experience with microservices architecture and API-driven ecosystemsDeep understanding of mobile application architectureStrong knowledge of security frameworks, encryption techniques, and threat modelingExperience with API management platforms and integration strategiesExperience producing High-Level Design (HLD) documentationFamiliarity with workflow engines and decision management systemsExposure to AI and Generative AI technologies is an advantageDomain ExperiencePrior experience in mobile banking platforms or digital financial services solutions is highly desirable.Understanding of banking features such as:Payments and transfersPersonal finance toolsTrading and investment capabilitiesSoft SkillsStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to influence technical decisions across multiple teamsStrong leadership mindset with a solution-oriented approachSelf-driven and proactive with the ability to work independently and guide cross-functional teamsAbility to present technical strategies and architectural concepts to senior leadershipWe craft, deploy, and manage bespoke services in CRM, data and AI, cybersecurity and consulting.#J-18808-Ljbffr
