Job Description - Senior Sales Associate (SEN000468)ResponsibilitiesGreet customers and assist them in their purchase decisions by offering expert advice in compliance with quality and customer service standardsPerform physical and electronic inventory of shop products on a regular basis as per Company guidelines in order to ensure accurate stock keeping, and inform the Manager of unavailable and nonperforming productsReport occurring operational issues or problems in a timely manner, suggest solutions or elevate them as appropriate, ensuring operational effectiveness at all timesConduct on-the-job training and demonstration for new and existing employees within scope of work, and contribute to their professional development for increased performance and customer satisfactionRun daily Department meetings in order to ensure all Department activities, objectives and events are properly understood and communicatedCommunicate sales plans and targets to the Shop/Department team, assign routine and non‑routine tasks to Sales Associates, monitor performance on an on‑going basis, and suggest corrective actions to hierarchy when neededWatch for and prevent security risks and thefts, and elevate occurring incidents to the hierarchy in a timely manner in order to avert lossVerify that the shop floor and shelves are kept clean and tidy at all times, and replenish on a continuous basis the shop shelves in order to guarantee availability of products at all timesPrepare staff schedule to ensure that the Shop/Department manpower is effectively matched to the shop’s operational requirements in a cost‑effective mannerSpecific for Multimedia: Up‑sell and cross‑sell products and services in order to reach hourly and daily sales targetsQualificationsBachelor Degree is a plusGood knowledge and understanding of store operating proceduresGood understanding of layout and visual merchandising techniquesStrong knowledge of products available across departments2 years of experience in retail is required2 years of experience in retail is a mustProficiency in MS OfficePlanning and Organizing: level 2Developing and Motivating Others: level 2Communication Skills: level 3Driving and Achieving results: level 3Customer Focus: level 2Commercial Understanding: level 2Teamwork: level 3OrganizationVirgin MegastorePrimary LocationUnited Arab Emirates-UAE, Dubai, The Dubai Mall#J-18808-Ljbffr
