Senior Risk Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Risk Manager to join our clients team. As a Senior Risk Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential risks that could impact the company's operations and financial performance. You will work closely with the senior management team to develop and implement risk management strategies and policies that align with the company's objectives.ResponsibilitiesConduct risk assessments to identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate themMonitor and evaluate the effectiveness of existing risk management policies and proceduresDevelop and implement risk management plans and proceduresKeep abreast of industry trends and changes in regulations to ensure the company's risk management practices are up to dateCollaborate with different departments to identify potential risks and develop risk management solutionsProvide guidance and support to the management team on risk-related mattersPrepare and present risk management reports to senior management and the board of directorsConduct training sessions for employees to increase awareness of risk management practicesDevelop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, such as regulators, auditors, and insurersLead investigations into any risk-related incidents and provide recommendations for improvementStay updated on emerging risks and provide proactive solutions to mitigate them.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Risk Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related fieldActuarial qualification and experience is requiredMinimum of 7 years of experience in risk management, preferably in a consulting or financial services environmentStrong knowledge of risk management principles, techniques, and toolsProven experience in developing and implementing risk management strategies and policiesExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and in a team environmentProficient in risk management software and toolsCertification in risk management (e.g. CRM, CERA) is preferred.#J-18808-Ljbffr
