About The Role Job title: Senior Resource AnalystRef #: 227520Location: Qatar - DohaJob family: Pilots & Flight Operations Closing date: 01-Mar-2026 Qatar Airways are pleased to announce an opportunity to join our Flight Deck Resource Planning Team as a Senior Resource Analyst, based in Doha, Qatar. As a Senior Resource Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the accurate forecasting, analysis and strategic planning of Flight Crew resources. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure that resource decisions are informed, data-driven and aligned with operational demands. Your work will directly contribute to ensuring the right number of Flight Crew are available at the right time, supporting both operational efficiency and regulatory compliance. Specific Responsibilities Perform analysis of business data to support the review, forecasting and optimal planning of flight crew resources. Develop and maintain accurate flight crew resource forecasts, based on operational demands, attrition, training throughput, recruitment and other key metrics. Conduct gap analysis between current resource levels and future requirements, and provide timely recommendations to address any risks or surpluses. Support the planning and tracking of key resource events including recruitment, transfers, command upgrades. Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports on flight crew resource status, highlighting any trends, variances and operational implications. Collaborate with stakeholders from Rostering, Training Planning, Recruitment, IOC-Crewing, Fleet Management, Finance to validate planning inputs and align on resource strategies. Contribute to the continuous improvement of resource planning processes, models, and tools, identifying areas for increased accuracy or efficiency. Ensure planning outputs comply with all relevant regulatory and company requirements. Qualifications Relevant College or University qualification to a minimum Bachelor's level in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field of study. Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. Experience in applying statistics, advanced analytical methods to solve business problems. Understanding of resource planning processes, theories and methodologies. Strong analytical, data analysis, data visualization and presentation skills. Strong business case writing skills and project management skills. Advanced level of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access) skills. Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with a range of stakeholders. Excellent English communication (written and spoken) and presentation skills.
