Senior Resident Engineer

The Resident Engineer will lead AECOMs construction supervision projects and act as the clients main point of contact advising on all engineering matters.Job DutiesLeads the delivery (time cost quality) of assigned package.Supervise and manage the contractors to ensure the works are constructed as per specification and to established milestone dates.Manage and direct the supervision team to undertake day to day inspections of the works.Maintain a very high level of Safety awareness and ensure the contractor complies with his obligations.Resolves site issues on site.Presents progress and package issues to client team.Negotiates changes to the scope of work with the Client and key subcontractors.Responsible for following up on instructions & commitments associated with the projectEstablishes Project Plan Health & Safety Plan Quality Control Plan and other documentsEstablishes the program requirements for all areas of the project and monitors site staff performancePlans directs supervises and controls the of all technical fiscal and administrative functions of the project and the site teamAssigns responsibility to key subordinates in their respective fields of expertiseProvides input to performance reviews and develop plans for subordinatesEstablishes internal weekly meetings to review project status and formulate action itemsPerforms other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriateRepresent the company in all Client meetings.Perform various engineering works and project/construction management for the project in Roads construction relevant.Review and checking technical deliverablesReview construction programme specifications and cost estimatesQualifications :Bachelor Degree in relevant Engineering field (i.e. Civil etc.Engineering charter ship will be advantageousDubai Authorities understanding will be advantageousBuilding experienceUnderground car park experienceExperienceA minimum 20 years post graduate experience in the design site supervision of the projects with a broad building/infrastructure backgroundengineering background.UAE experience required especially in DubaiAdditional Information :About AECOMAECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
