The Group operates through multiple business units and subsidiaries, delivering integrated solutions supported by strong operational expertise and a well-established regional presence.Job SummaryAl Marwan Developments is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Quantity Surveyor – Infrastructure to manage the commercial and contractual aspects of large-scale infrastructure projects across the UAE. The role involves overseeing Cost and Value Management, contract administration, valuations, variations, and final accounts. UAE experience is highly preferred due to local market practices and regulatory requirements; however, strong candidates outside the UAE may also be considered.Key ResponsibilitiesThe key duties and responsibilities of the Senior Quantity Surveyor include, but are not limited to:Manage and monitor project budgets, cost/value control systems, and cash flow forecastsPrepare monthly commercial reports for submission to Senior ManagementMaintain strong working relationships with Client QS and/or Consultant QSPrepare and submit interim valuations, payment applications, and final accountsAdminister contracts in accordance with local and international standards (including FIDIC Red and Yellow Book)Identify, evaluate, and submit variations, new rates, and change ordersProvide commercial input for project risk management and financial performanceSupport in the preparation and defense of claims, disputes, and contractual issuesConduct detailed measurements for final accounts and cost verificationCoordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal project teamsMentor and support junior QS team members as requiredRequired Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related fieldMinimum 8–10 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably within UAE infrastructure projectsStrong understanding of infrastructure construction (roads, drainage, utilities, bridges, metro, airports, etc.)Deep knowledge of FIDIC and UAE-specific contract laws and procurement processesProven expertise in cost/value reporting and commercial analysisExcellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skillsAbility to handle multiple deadlines and work under pressureHigh accuracy, attention to detail, and a methodical work approachProficient in major QS and cost-management software (e.g., Candy, CCS, CostX, Excel, ERP systems)Professional membership such as MRICS is advantageous but not mandatory#J-18808-Ljbffr
