Are you looking for a chance to put your skills to their best-possible use Then we have what you are looking for!PositionPMC Position: Senior Quality Assurance (QA) EngineerJob Location: DubaiDuty Hours: 45/WeekContract Period: 6 months (with the option of extending)Core Responsibilities15 years of experience.Experience in witnessing Factory Acceptance Tests of various types of valves pumps compressors and static equipment.Key AccountabilitiesQuality management:Ensure compliance of all Contractors and Vendors with the Project Quality Management System requirements.Participate in audits on Engineering Contractor Vendors and Construction Contractors.Monitor Key Performance Indicators to measure quality performance of various Contractors.Provide support and guidance to the Project team members on matters related to QA/QC.Provide input to project reports identifying project quality performance issues and trends.Engineering activitiesReview of Engineering Contractor documents such as Material Requisitions Guideline ITPs Quality procedures.Participate in Bid clarifications and Technical Evaluation of bidders.Manufacturing activitiesSupport the Quality Team Lead in planning co-ordination and supervision of inspection activities (within UAE and outside UAE).Responsible for approving Vendors quality documents including ITPs Quality procedures Mill Test Certificates.Attend the pre-inspection meetings at Vendor premises ensure Third-Party Inspectors have adequate experience and qualifications for the task monitor Third-Party Inspectors performance.Ensure that the inspection activities at Vendors premises are carried out in accordance with approved inspection & test procedures relevant codes and standards; attend inspections and Factory Acceptance Tests at Vendors premises.Responsible for the review of the Manufacturer Record Books.Educational QualificationsEngineering Degree (Mechanical Engineering).Weld Inspection Certification to AWS or CSWIP Level 2 or equivalent.Coating/painting NACE Level II or equivalent.ASNT Level II in RT UT MPI and PT.Competencies/Skills/OthersShould be pragmatic self-motivated and demonstrate initiative.Able to present and write technical reports in fluent English.Expected to take ownership of issues and follow them through to completion.Willingness to interact directly with people.Good presentation skills.Ability to work in an organised and structured fashion and within time constraints.How to applyTo apply please submit your CV in English through the system containing as a minimum your contact details education level relevant experience and earliest possible start date.EEO / Applicant communicationsAny applicant must be aware that the selection of candidates is at the sole discretion of the employer.
