Senior Python Engineer

<div><p>Our client is seeking Senior Python Developers to contribute to their innovation projects in the US. This role is part of a larger company’s strategy leveraging Generative AI (GenAI) to enhance workflows, decision-making, and data management of the enterprise solutions in auditing and risk management used by the largest companies in the world.</p><p>You're a senior python engineer with an interest in AI and Data Science</p><p>This is a remote-first position with a required overlap of US working hours (2-6 PM CET).</p><h3>Role&Responsibilities</h3><p>As a<b>Senior Python Developer</b>, you will:</p><ul><li><b>Develop and maintain scalable back-end</b><b>services</b>using FastAPI and other modern frameworks.</li><li><b>Ensure seamless integration</b>with front-end applications and external services through well-designed RESTful APIs.</li><li><b>Leverage cloud infrastructure</b>(Azure Functions, Azure Storage) for hosting and scaling applications.</li><li><b>Implement security best practices</b>for API authentication (OAuth, JWT) and data protection.</li><li><b>Possibly work on GenAI-driven</b>applications, utilizing AI APIs.</li></ul><h3>Required Skills&Experience</h3><ul><li><b>Expertise in Python</b>for back-end development.</li><li><b>Experience with FastAPI</b><b>or Flask</b>for building scalable RESTful APIs.</li><li><b>Familiarity with</b>OpenAI, HuggingFace or similar AI APIs.</li><li><b>Knowledge</b>of MCP/FastMCP</li><li><b>Ability to work with large datasets</b>and perform data cleaning, transformation, and manipulation.</li><li><b>Cloud Services:</b>Hands-on experience with cloud deployment, CI/CD pipelines.<b>Ideally on Azure</b>.</li><li><b>Asynchronous Programming</b>: Understanding of async patterns to improve performance.</li><li><b>Containerization</b>: Familiarity with Docker for application deployment.</li><li><b>Security Best Practices:</b>Knowledge of API authentication methods such as OAuth and JWT.</li></ul><h3>What We Look For</h3><ul><li>A<b>detail-oriented developer</b>with a focus on code quality, testing, and best practices.</li><li>A<b>problem-solver</b>who proactively identifies and optimizes bottlenecks.</li><li>A<b>team player with a “can-do” attitude</b>and the ability to constructively give and receive feedback.</li><li>A developer who<b>takes ownership and responsibility</b>for their work and strives for high-quality delivery.</li></ul><h3>Work Conditions</h3><ul><li>Start Date:<b>ASAP</b></li><li>Location:<b>Remote (99%)</b>; must be able to travel freely within the UK&Europe for workshops.</li><li><b>Onsite Requirements:</b>Mandatory planning sessions/workshops (4 times a year).</li><li><b>US Time Zone Overlap:</b>Required (2 PM - 6 PM CET)</li><li>Rate: 290-340 EUR/MD</li></ul><p>If you are passionate about<b>Python, cloud-native architectures, and AI-driven applications</b>, this role with our client offers an exciting opportunity to work on impactful projects!</p></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
