Senior Project Manager/Scrum Master

OverviewJob Description We are seeking an experienced Arabic speaking Senior Project Manager / Scrum Master to lead and deliver complex digital transformation initiatives across IT, SDLC, ERP, Low-Code, Networking, and enterprise platforms.This role requires a strong balance between delivery ownership (Project Manager) and Agile execution leadership (Scrum Master), ensuring predictable outcomes, stakeholder alignment, and continuous improvement across programs.ResponsibilitiesLead and manage digital projects end-to-end, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and within budget.Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, deliverables, and dependencies.Manage project scope, change requests, risks, and issues proactively throughout the project lifecycle.Engage internal and external stakeholders to define, align, and manage project requirements and objectives.Act as Scrum Master for Agile delivery teams, facilitating sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.Remove delivery impediments and enable high-performing, self-organizing teams.Promote and apply Agile best practices, tailoring frameworks to business and project needs.Drive continuous improvement in delivery velocity, predictability, quality, and team performance.Communicate project status, progress, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders with transparency and clarity.Coordinate and manage cross-functional teams and third-party vendors to ensure successful delivery.Provide leadership and direction to project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.Apply Waterfall and Agile methodologies as appropriate, ensuring adherence to project management best practices.Allocate and manage project resources effectively, ensuring optimal utilization and delivery success.Monitor and control project budgets, ensuring cost efficiency and financial accountability.Implement and oversee quality assurance, governance, and audit mechanisms across the project lifecycle.Conduct regular project reviews to assess performance, identify risks, and drive improvements.Provide technical guidance to teams, ensuring solutions align with project objectives and organizational standards.Maintain complete, accurate, and up-to-date project documentation, including plans, reports, and records.Prepare and present regular project status updates to senior management and key stakeholders.Ensure compliance with PMO standards, Agile practices, and delivery frameworks.QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Administration, or related fieldMaster’s degree is a plusCertifications (Highly Desirable): PMP OR PMI-ACP / Scrum Master / Agile certificationsMinimum Experience / Skills5–10 years of project management experience in IT & Digital TransformationProven experience delivering projects in the UAE government, semi-government, or enterprise sectorsStrong hands-on exposure to both Agile and Waterfall methodologiesTechnology & Domain Exposure o IT & Networking; o SDLC & Application Development; o Low-Code Platforms; o ERP Systems; o Digital Transformation Programs; o Hybrid Agile & Waterfall environmentsStrong leadership and stakeholder management skillsDeep understanding of Agile delivery and Scrum practicesExcellent planning, risk management, and financial control skillsStrong technical understanding of development and networking environmentsExceptional communication skills in Arabic and EnglishAnalytical, solution-oriented mindsetAccountabilityEnsure successful completion of projects on time, within scope, and within budget.Provide guidance and support to the project team, ensuring they meet their objectives.Be accountable for maintaining high standards in project quality, budget management, and risk management.Maintain project documentation and provide transparent reporting to senior management.Ensure stakeholder expectations are consistently met throughout the project lifecycle.AuthorityAuthority to allocate and manage project resources effectively to meet deadlines and deliverables.Authority to make decisions on project scope, risks, and change requests in alignment with stakeholders.Authority to lead and direct project teams and ensure efficient project execution.Authority to manage project budgets and ensure cost efficiency across all stages of the project lifecycle.#J-18808-Ljbffr
