Job Description

Responsibilities:Execute the project delivery and execution plan drawing on information as needed from the development department and ensure it is in line with the overall development plans and strategiesEnsure all necessary building permits are obtained as inputs relevant to the stage of the projectProvide input during design for constructability of a single product and potential value engineering and facilitate value engineering workshopsManagement of project execution..Ensure proper coordination and communication with the Commercial & Contracts and the Project Control functions in relation to drafting tenders, assessing proposals, selection of contractors and in relation to any variation to the contractManage mobilization and handover activities at the beginning of the construction phase as part of the execution stage of the project and ensure adherence to planned timelineManage and coordinate services provided by Project Management or similar consultants (when appointed) to meet project objectivesManage and coordinate work by contractors (when no consultant is appointed) to meet project objectivesManage all variations in collaboration with the nominated Development project lead to ensure that all changes to the design are aligned with overall design plansCollaborate with the Contracts function in order to review any variations coming from the contractor and plan how to manage them without impacting the project plansOversee the testing and commissioning of the facilities in order to ensure that all facilities are properly running before handover to owners and tenantsEnsure that all necessary occupation certificates, utility connection certificates etc. as part of the handover phase are in placeCollaborate with Contracts to prepare final product cost reconciliation reports to be raised to the relevant stakeholders and nominated Development project lead to ensure they remain aware of the financial status of the projectEnsure that all projects are in compliance with all applicable codes, legal and Eagle Hills’ specific requirementsEnsure effective Quality Assurance standards in place and that they are implemented on project levelSupport business development in the due diligence process by providing technical inputs in regards to the different studies of the landEnsure effective QHSE standards in place to ensure the safety of the workers on siteMonitor the performance and development of all subordinatesOversee the performance of contractors and consultants throughout the project and evaluate their performance based on set criteria and according to the roles and responsibilities in the RACI matrixIdentify and elevate and coordinate mitigation plans for risks and issues and raise them to the Senior Project DirectorReview and follow up on the contractor’s payment certificate to ensure that payments relate to actual and approved delivered work on site as per the planImplement, and ensure compliance with, policies and procedures related to the project execution especially in regards to the Quality Assurance and Quality ControlCollect project data in order to prepare relevant project reports including cost report, physical progress, design progress, local authority matters, contractor’s performance, quality and safety, etc. to provide relevant stakholders and nominated Development project lead with updates in regards to the different phases.Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree Civil Engineering or Construction ManagementProject management certification preferred (Project Management Professional (PMP), Project Management Institute (PMI), or Prince 2)Preferred Experience:10-15 years of experience in an engineering role for a contractor / siteJob Specific Skills:Excellent understanding of construction activities#J-18808-Ljbffr
