Senior Process Engineer (Design)

An EPC company in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Senior Process Engineer with 10+ years of experience in oil tank farms, refinery modifications, and NGL projects. The role involves leading process design, ensuring compliance with international standards and ADNOC specifications, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.Key Responsibilities:Develop and review PFDs, P&IDs, heat & mass balance, and process data sheets.Conduct process simulations and hydraulic calculations using Aspen HYSYS or similar simulation software.Prepare and review process specifications, control philosophies, and safety studies (HAZOP, LOPA, SIL).Design storage tanks, pipelines, separators, pumps, compressors, and flare systems.Ensure seamless integration across mechanical, piping, instrumentation, and electrical teams.Review vendor documents for compliance with project specifications.Provide technical support during procurement, construction, commissioning, and startup.Qualifications & Experience:Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering (Master’s preferred).10+ years of EPC process design experience (storage tanks, pipelines, NGL, refinery modifications).Strong knowledge of API, ASME, NFPA, ADNOC AGES, and IEC standards.Expertise in HAZOP, LOPA, and process safety management.Proficiency in Aspen HYSYS and other process simulation tools.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.Exposure to THSE is an added advantage.The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, technically proficient professional who thrives in fast-paced, multidisciplinary oil & gas projects.#J-18808-Ljbffr
