OverviewJob Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer – Rotating Equipment (OP-MA)Location: Offshore (UAE)Contract Type: Contract HireSalary & BenefitsAED 12,000 – 14,000 per month + Offshore Allowance (non-negotiable)Air ticket provided as per company policyHealth insurance providedFood & accommodation provided as per company policyWorking Hours & LeaveOffshore: 06:30 – 18:30 (7 days a week)Leave: 28 days paid leave after 28 days continuous workQualificationsBachelors degree in Mechanical EngineeringValid UAE light vehicle driving license preferredExperience12+ years in maintenance and inspection of rotating equipment including reciprocating compressors, centrifugal pumps/blowers, gas turbine generators, diesel engines, and auxiliaries in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Chemical industriesExperience in planning, preparation, execution, review, and corrective actions for rotating equipmentJob Description & ResponsibilitiesSupervise major overhauls, time-based inspections, breakdown maintenance, and modification/retrofit worksPerform preventive maintenance, repair, and overhaul, including replacement of worn or damaged partsArrange test runs, evaluate equipment performance, and provide technical solutionsPrepare RFQ packages, TBE, and vendor suggestions; review vendor designs and datasheetsSpecify rotating equipment for offshore applications and develop life cycle costs for repairs and replacementsDevelop QA/QC standards for rotating equipment maintenance and prepare technical specifications and datasheetsRecommend spare parts for rotating equipmentFamiliarity with work permit systems and safe plant working practicesAbility to read machinery curves, datasheets, and calculate efficiencyBasic working knowledge of instrumentation installed on machinery, including vibration monitoring, ESD systems, and DCSAbility to read P&ID, isometric drawings, equipment cross-sections, and cause-and-effect chartsPerform basic engineering calculations (flows, power, gas properties)Other ConditionsAll employment conditions in line with UAE/Abu Dhabi Labour Law#J-18808-Ljbffr
