About the JobSenior Mechanical EngineerMechanical & Pipeline Services (Oil & Gas):Mechanical services including mechanical contracting and maintenance.Supply, installation, testing & maintenance of heavy equipment and pipelines for oil, gas & chilled water systems.GRP & HDPE pipeline services (installation/maintenance).Mechanical support services (long-term hire & on-call) for plant operations.Fabrication & erection of steel structures related to mechanical works.ASME certified fabrication and NDT support for pipeline projects.Fire protection systems and fire-fighting installations.Relevant for mechanical design, field engineering, erection supervision, and maintenance coordination.LPG/NG Utility Systems & Services:Engineering, supply, installation and maintenance of LPG/NG/SNG systems.Central gas systems and related pressure reducing & metering stations.Operations & maintenance of gas distribution networks.Aligns with gas network piping, pressure systems, and utility engineering disciplines.Industrial & Facility Services:HVAC systems supply, installation & commissioning.Fire alarm / firefighting systems installation.Mechanical maintenance works across industrial facilities.Supports roles involving HVAC mechanical design and facility services coordination.Ongoing Maintenance & Contracts:Long-term operation & maintenance for oil & gas plants (e.g., refinery and field operations).Call-off maintenance contracts at Qatar Petroleum, Q-Chem and other industrial clients.Good match for mechanical reliability, breakdown support and field problem-solving.Education Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Mandatory)Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Preferred but not mandatory)UPDA/MMUP Grade A or B certification (Highly preferred for Qatar projects)Experience Requirements:Minimum 12-15 years total experience in Oil & Gas / Industrial projectsAt least 5-7 years in Qatar or GCC (mandatory for client familiarity)Strong experience in:Pipeline installation (CS, SS, GRP, HDPE)LPG/NG/SNG systems & gas distribution networksMechanical equipment installation (pumps, vessels, compressors)HVAC & Fire Fighting mechanical systemsASME fabrication & erection supervisionPlant maintenance / shutdown / call-off contractsExperience working with major clients such as:QatarEnergy / QPQ-ChemRasGas / QatargasORYX GTL (Client exposure is highly preferred for approval processes)#J-18808-Ljbffr
