Senior Mechanical Engineer

Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Mechanical Engineer specialized exclusively in plumbing systems for residential projects. The role covers plumbing design, technical office responsibilities, site supervision, and final handover, with full ownership of all plumbing-related works from design to execution and acceptance.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign residential plumbing systems including cold & hot water supply, drainage, vent, and stormwater systems.Prepare, review, and approve plumbing shop drawings.Prepare and review BOQs and technical specifications related to plumbing works.Review and approve plumbing material submittals and suppliers.Supervise on‑site execution of plumbing works and ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.Coordinate with architectural, structural, and electrical teams to resolve clashes and technical issues.Conduct and approve plumbing tests (pressure testing, leakage testing, flushing).Perform sectional, final, and handover inspections for plumbing works.Review and approve as‑built drawings.Ensure full compliance with Saudi Building Code and relevant local standards.Qualifications & RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.Minimum 3–5 years of experience specifically in residential plumbing works.Proven experience in technical office (design & shop drawings) and site supervision.Strong knowledge of plumbing codes and Saudi Building Code requirements.Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit is a plus).Strong inspection, coordination, and problem‑solving skills.PreferredExperience with villas, apartment buildings, or multi‑unit residential developments.Background in real estate development or contracting companies.#J-18808-Ljbffr
