SENIOR HSE ENGINEER

Qualifications (minimum)Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering (mandatory) with overall process and process safety experienceFamiliarity requirementsP&ID, Control philosophy and Control Narrative (Mandatory)Design experience at various stages of project lifecycle such as FEED, Detailed Engineering, Construction Engineering, Commissioning & Pre‑commissioning etcExperience (minimum)12 years relevant experience is requiredMinimum 8 years in Oil & Gas industry at engineer levelPreference for candidates who have experience in ADNOC group of companiesJob RequirementsClass 1 Consultant and/or Contractor experienceProfound familiarity with ADNOC group standardsPrevious experience as a Lead Engineer in a project or departmentExcellent understanding of Process SafetyGood understanding of Environmental Safety & Occupational SafetyExtensive exposure to project workshops such as HAZOP, PHA, Bowtie, IVB, QRA, Drop Object analysis, risk rating, and analysisPreference will be given to candidates approved by regulatory bodies or OPCOsJob ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and monitor HSE management systems for assigned projects or facilitiesConduct risk assessments, including HAZOPs, JHA, and LOPA studies, to identify and mitigate potential hazardsReview engineering designs and procedures to ensure compliance with HSE standards and regulationsStay up-to-date on industry best practices and regulatory changes in the UAEProvide technical advice and guidance to other HSE professionals and line managersConduct HSE audits, inspections, and investigations to identify and address non‑conformitiesKnowledge & SkillsStrong understanding of relevant UAE and international HSE regulations (e.g., ADNOC, API)Excellent risk assessment and auditing skillsProficiency in HSE software applicationsExcellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skillsSound training and presentation skillsProven experience in developing and implementing HSE management systemsProven experience of conducting safety skills and awareness training programs#J-18808-Ljbffr
