Job Description

Job SummaryThe Senior GRC Officer supports and enhances the Bank’s Governance, Risk, and Compliance framework in line with Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) regulations, internal policies, and international best practices. The role is hands‑on and advisory in nature, focusing on regulatory compliance, risk monitoring, governance processes, and internal controls, without managerial or people management responsibilities.Key ResponsibilitiesGovernanceImplement and maintain governance policies, procedures, and frameworks in line with SAMA Corporate Governance RegulationsSupport preparation of GRC reports for senior management, Board Committees, and regulatorsEnsure proper documentation, tracking, and periodic review of governance‑related policiesRisk ManagementPerform and review risk assessments across banking functions (operational, compliance, and strategic risks)Maintain risk registers, Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), and risk action plansMonitor risk exposures and elevate material risks to management as requiredSupport new products, processes, and change initiatives from a risk perspectiveComplianceMonitor compliance with SAMA regulations, circulars, and regulatory requirementsConduct compliance reviews, gap assessments, and thematic reviewsTrack regulatory changes and assess business impactSupport regulatory examinations, inspections, and information requestsAssist in regulatory reporting and follow‑up on supervisory observationsInternal Controls & AssuranceReview internal controls and support enhancement initiativesCoordinate with Internal Audit and business units on audit findings and remediation actionsTrack closure of audit issues and regulatory findingsAdvisory & SupportProvide GRC advisory support to business units on policies, procedures, and regulatory mattersPromote a strong risk and compliance culture within the BankContribute to continuous improvement of GRC tools, templates, and methodologiesEducationBachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, Business Administration, Law, or related fieldExperience5–8 years of experience in Governance, Risk, Compliance, Audit, or Risk ManagementBanking experience within Saudi Arabia or GCC is requiredHands‑on exposure to SAMA regulations and regulatory compliance activitiesSkills & CompetenciesStrong knowledge of Saudi banking regulations and compliance requirementsSolid understanding of enterprise risk management and internal control frameworksStrong analytical and reporting skillsExcellent attention to detail and documentation skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple prioritiesStrong written and verbal communication skillsPreferred QualificationsProfessional certifications such as CRISC, CISA, CIA, CRCM, CAMS, or FRMFamiliarity with Basel frameworks, COSO, ISO 31000, and AML regulationsExperience supporting regulatory audits and SAMA inspections#J-18808-Ljbffr
