Senior Engineer - DevOps (CI/CD & OpenShift)

OverviewFlatgigs is hiring Senior Technology Engineers (DevOps – CI/CD) for a confidential client in the banking technology sector .This role focuses on building and maintaining enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines and DevOps platforms , supporting large-scale application deployments and platform engineering initiatives.The ideal candidate will have strong experience with OpenShift-based platforms, CI/CD automation, DevSecOps tooling, and containerized environments .This role will contribute to improving deployment automation, application security integration, and platform reliability across digital banking platforms.Key ResponsibilitiesCI/CD Pipeline Development Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for enterprise applicationsAutomate build, testing, and deployment processes using DevOps best practicesSupport continuous integration and continuous delivery across multiple development teamsPlatform Engineering Manage and support OpenShift-based container platformsImplement scalable deployment pipelines for containerized applicationsEnsure platform reliability, scalability, and performance across environmentsDevSecOps Integration Integrate security scanning and code analysis tools into CI/CD pipelinesSupport secure development practices through automated security checksEnsure pipelines comply with enterprise security and governance standardsToolchain Management Work with DevOps and platform engineering tools including: Jenkins GitHub OpenShift / Kubernetes Service Mesh frameworks API management platforms DevSecOps tooling experience with tools such as: SonarQube Checkmarx Sysdig Software Composition Analysis (SCA) CoSignCollaboration & Delivery Work closely with development, architecture, and security teamsSupport platform improvements and DevOps automation initiativesTroubleshoot deployment issues and improve pipeline efficiencyContribute to DevOps standards, automation frameworks, and best practicesRequired SkillsStrong experience with CI/CD pipeline design and automationHands-on experience with OpenShift or Kubernetes platformsExperience with Jenkins and GitHub-based CI/CD workflowsKnowledge of containerized application deploymentExperience integrating DevSecOps tools into CI/CD pipelinesPreferred ExperienceExperience working in banking, fintech, or regulated enterprise environmentsFamiliarity with service mesh architecturesExperience with API management platformsExposure to cloud-native platform engineering practicesIdeal Candidate Profile5+ years of DevOps / Platform Engineering experienceStrong understanding of CI/CD best practices and automation frameworksExperience supporting large-scale enterprise application deploymentsAbility to work in collaborative, cross-functional engineering teamsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills#J-18808-Ljbffr
