OverviewJob Code: 221/002/390. Industry: Water Treatment. Job Brief: Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join their team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the water treatment industry and a strong background in electrical engineering. This role will involve designing and preparing electrical technical submittals, managing electrical parts of operation and maintenance manuals, and coordinating with suppliers for electrical work.ResponsibilitiesDesign and prepare Electrical Technical Submittals, including Single Line Diagrams, Schematic Diagrams, BOQs, Cable Lists, Load Schedules, layouts, lighting, and small power.Ensure coordination with other departments for comprehensive submittals.Prepare the electrical section of the Operation and Maintenance Manual (OMM) and create necessary electrical test forms, including FAT, SAT, Mega Ohm Test, Continuity and Loop Test, and Functional Test.Coordinate with suppliers: send RFQs, follow up on coordination, negotiations, and technical meetings, and ensure timely completion of tasks.Program Micro Relays such as LOGO and Zelio.Job RequirementsMinimum 7 years of experience in water treatment, wastewater, desalination, or utilities projects.Proven background in electrical design (not limited to site execution/maintenance).Supplier coordination experience – sending RFQs, technical evaluation, and follow-ups.Micro relay programming experience – specifically LOGO and Zelio relays.Must be well-versed in the complete electrical scope, including lighting, earthing, panels, fire systems, UPS, instrumentation, etc.Experience in low-voltage systems is mandatory.Ability to prepare electrical technical submittals (Mandate), including: Single Line Diagrams (SLD), Schematic Diagrams, BOQs, Cable Lists, Load Schedules, and Lighting & small power layouts.Knowledge of testing and commissioning procedures: FAT (Factory Acceptance Test), SAT (Site Acceptance Test), and Continuity, Loop, and Functional Tests.Note: This description retains the original job information while removing boilerplate and non-essential content such as external links or social media prompts.#J-18808-Ljbffr
