This is a short-term, high-impact contract role focused on establishing strong foundations, improving UI consistency, and enabling scalable frontend practices across digital platforms.The ideal candidate is strategic yet hands-on, capable of quickly assessing the current state, defining a clear roadmap, and delivering measurable improvements within a 3-month engagement.Key ResponsibilitiesAssess the current state of the design system and identify gapsDefine and execute a focused 3-month roadmap with clear deliverablesEstablish governance frameworks and contribution modelsLead development or refinement of reusable UI components, tokens, and patternsAlign UX, frontend engineering, and brand standardsEnsure accessibility (WCAG), responsiveness, and performance best practicesImplement documentation standards and version control processesDrive stakeholder alignment and adoption across product teamsProvide mentorship and recommendations for long-term sustainabilityRequirements8+ years of experience in UI/UX, frontend engineering, or digital product developmentProven experience building or scaling enterprise design systemsStrong expertise in component-based architecture and modern frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Vue, etc.)Deep understanding of design tokens, theming, and UI governanceExperience implementing accessibility standards (WCAG)Strong stakeholder management and leadership skillsAbility to deliver results in short, high-impact engagements#J-18808-Ljbffr
