Senior Design Manager - Head Office

DutiesValue Engineering at Pre-Construction stage for reduction of project cost and implementation of project award.Managing the production of design documents for all disciplines from pre-concept to issue for construction and extensive review of each submission.Conduct project kick-off & management review meetings with the Client and project parties.Management of pre & post-construction design services of disciplines and building permits.Management of design changes and reporting of commercial, contractual, programme and technical changes.Ensuring the revised design documentation is of right quality, retains pace with timescales and is in accordance with local authority requirements.Drive design progress and conduct constructability assessments.Review and approve design documentation, ensuring compliance with local regulations, international standards, and project requirements.Provide technical leadership across architectural and engineering disciplines, ensuring high-quality design output.Support senior leadership in strategic planning, risk management, and decision-making.RequirementsArchitectural background (Bachelor's degree required) or similarMinimum 12 years design management experience, with proven experience delivering Major Build projects in the UAE/GCC.Strong understanding of UAE building codes, development regulations, authority approval processes, and local market dynamics.Demonstrated experience working on Large Mixed Use Schemes.Excellent leadership skills with experience hiring, managing and mentoring design teams.Strong technical and commercial acumen with the ability to drive project progress and resolve complex issues.Exceptional communication, client-facing, and stakeholder management skills.#J-18808-Ljbffr
