These include world-class licensed process technologies differentiated advisory services deep technical domain expertise energy transition solutions high-end design and engineering capabilities and smart solutions to optimize planned and operating assets.LocationAbu Dhabi, UAEThe RoleReporting to the KBR Commercial Director and responsible for the contract management of the contracts during tender stage working with the procurement department through to completion final account and handover.Project DescriptionKBR are appointed under a framework agreement with Aldar Projects in Abu Dhabi to oversee a diverse portfolio of projects that contribute to Abu Dhabis growth. This includes developing essential infrastructure such as transportation networks and utilities alongside public spaces which also involves the shaping of thriving communities by managing the development of residential housing projects and ensuring the quality of new educational facilities together with the development of mosques and maximizing urban space through infill development projects. This PMC role offers a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact on Abu Dhabis built environment.Main ResponsibilitiesInterface with senior management team to meet overall program deliverables.Management of the contractual aspects of executing the PMCs role on a major programme of mixed-use development and infrastructure works.Management of all aspects of contractual claims arising from the execution of contracts as part of the PMCs role on a major programme of infrastructure development works in an ethical manner at all times in accordance with procedures.Precision is key in reviewing and drafting contractual notices to ensure all terms are accurate and enforceable.Respond to project-related letters of a contractual nature ensuring timely and accurate communication.Review all incoming and outgoing project-related letters to ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions.Interface with other teams to meet overall program deliverables including for review of claims.Executing the processes in accordance with the procedures to anticipate where possible to mitigate handle and advise on all aspects of contractual claims.A solid understanding of construction contracts and relevant regulations is essential to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.Identify and mitigate risks associated with contractual obligations and project delivery.Provide expert advice on contractual matters including risk management and dispute resolution.Assists in the development of the contracts and procurement strategy standards policies procedures and best practices.Manages and provides support to the team to ensure that they meet the Project objectives in accordance with contractual procedures.Manages the monitoring and reporting of contracts administration performance by Consultants Construction Supervisors and Contractors to ensure fulfilment of their obligations &Management of the commercial and change management aspects of executing the PMCs role on a major programme of mixed-use development and infrastructure works &Management and Mentoring of the Contracts/commercial team to enhance their proficiencies and fulfilment of their obligations.Experience, Skills and KnowledgeBSc Quantity Surveying construction management engineering architecture or appropriate equivalentMinimum overall relevant experience 22 years.Minimum relevant experience 8 years in the roleMinimum Regional Experience 5 yearsProfessional memberships and charterships required MRICS or equivalentSound knowledge of all commercial aspects of major developments and infrastructure projects including iconic structures roads bridges and utilitiesExcellent report writing and communication skillsAttention to detail and strong organizational skillsProven track record of managing complex contracts and resolving disputesStrong ethical standards and professional integrityAbility to work under pressure and manage multiple prioritiesTeam player with the ability to work independently when requiredExperienced user of MS Office and contract management softwareExperience of major projects in the Middle East.CompetenciesLeadershipStrong interpersonal and communication skillsCommercial awarenessStrong customer focusPlanning and organisingAccepts ResponsibilityHSE AwarenessRequired ExperienceManager#J-18808-Ljbffr
