This role is crucial in ensuring scalable deployment architectures, high availability, secure cloud operations, and streamlined CI/CD delivery for mission-critical applications.ResponsibilitiesManage and support AWS cloud environments ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance.Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.Operate and optimize Amazon EKS and Red Hat OpenShift clusters.Build and maintain containerized applications using Docker and Podman.Monitor system health using observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, etc.).Automate CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD and GitOps practices.Collaborate with DevOps, SRE, and development teams for seamless application delivery.Enforce cloud and container security best practices aligned with compliance standards.Participate in on-call rotations and incident response for critical workloads.Required Qualifications & SkillsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.5–7 years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure and DevOps/SRE.Strong expertise with AWS services: EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, EKS, etc.Proficiency in IaC using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar platforms.Experience working with EKS and OpenShift for container orchestration.Advanced knowledge of Docker and Podman containerization.Hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD and GitOps workflows.Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Go.Experience with monitoring and logging tools.Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.Nice-to-Have SkillsAWS certifications: SysOps Administrator, DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect.Experience with GitLab security, deployment strategies, or advanced pipeline management.Knowledge of compliance and security frameworks: CIS, NIST, ISO 27001.✨ Recruitment Pro TipHighlight your hands-on IaC, EKS/OpenShift operations, and GitLab CI/CD achievements—practical automation and cloud-native reliability improvements are the strongest differentiators when applying for senior DevOps roles in the UAE.#J-18808-Ljbffr
