Senior Chiller Mechanic

ResponsibilitiesPerform advanced troubleshooting and diagnostics onlarge-tonnage liquid chillersCarry outmajor and minor services, inspections, and performance assessmentsExecutecompressor teardown, inspection, repair, and reassembly(centrifugal, screw, and others)Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system faultsSelect, identify, and replace OEM and equivalent spare parts accuratelyInterpret wiring diagrams, P&IDs, control logic, and OEM technical documentationSupport chilleroverhauls, retrofits, and commissioning activitiesConduct vibration checks, oil analysis, and performance testing where requiredRespond to breakdowns and emergency callouts professionally and efficientlyPrepare clear service reports and recommendations for clients and managementMaintain high standards ofsafety, quality, and workmanshipat all timesMentor junior technicians where requiredRequired Experience & QualificationsMinimum 7–10 yearshands-on experience withlarge-tonnage chillersStrong experience acrossmultiple OEMs(e.g. centrifugal and screw platforms)Proven ability to independently troubleshoot complex chiller faultsDemonstrated experience withcompressor teardown and rebuildSolid understanding of refrigeration cycles, controls, and electromechanical systemsAbility to work independently and make sound technical decisions on siteExperience working inUAE or GCCpreferredValid UAE driving licence (or ability to obtain one)Technical diploma or equivalent qualification in HVAC/R or Mechanical EngineeringPreferred Skills (Advantageous)Experience with VFDs, PLC-based controls, and BMS interfacesExposure to energy optimisation and performance testingOEM factory training certificatesKnowledge of NDT, oil analysis, or vibration monitoringPersonal AttributesStrong problem-solving mindsetDetail-oriented with high technical standardsProfessional, reliable, and safety-focusedComfortable working on high-value, mission-critical equipmentAble to communicate clearly with clients and team members#J-18808-Ljbffr
