Senior Backend Engineer (Remote)

<div><p>We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Backend Engineer with over 8+ years of proven expertise in building and scaling robust services. This role is perfect for someone with deep knowledge in C#, .NET, Azure Cloud, and Azure DevOps, combined with a strong aptitude for debugging and performance optimization. As a key member of our engineering team, you will lead the development of scalable backend systems that drive our mission forward and are expected to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while practicing extreme ownership.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Design and develop high-performance, scalable backend systems using C# and .NET technologies</li><li>Lead the design discussions and implement best practices for service-oriented architectures and microservices</li><li>Drive the evolution of our existing platform to the next level by leveraging cutting-edge technologies and strategies to ensure a future-proof and scalable infrastructure.</li><li>Ensure high quality unit/integration tests where required</li><li>Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues, with a strong emphasis on debugging skills.</li><li>Optimize system performance through proactive analysis, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives along with observability tooling</li><li>Mentor junior engineers and share your deep technical expertise across teams</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend developers, DevOps, QA, and product managers to deliver high-quality solutions.</li><li>Contribute to agile processes and drive continuous improvement in development methodologies and practices</li><li>Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending new tools and practices to enhance the technical stack</li><li>Contribute to the technical strategy and roadmap of backend services</li></ul><h3>Must have</h3><ul><li>Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes</li><li>Experience with Azure cloud services like key vault, app config, various queueing products and ADB2C</li><li>Familiarity with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and serverless computing</li><li>Extensive database design experience with SQL and NoSQL</li><li>Extensive caching strategies and related experience</li><li>Command over codebase architecture and code organization with relevant design patterns</li></ul><h3>Good to have</h3><ul><li>Previously worked in a fintech/proptech industry</li><li>Knowledge of additional programming languages or frameworks is a plus.</li><li>Certification(s) related to Azure or cloud technologies.</li><li>Programming experience in a related language such as Golang, Typescript, etc</li></ul></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
