Senior Architect

OverviewSenior Landscape Architect (Construction Supervision) – Abu Dhabi, UAE. Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Not Applicable/None.ResponsibilitiesDirect the site supervision pertaining to landscape design, irrigation as well as associated works.Evaluate all shop drawings, design propositions, technique statements, and any requests for information connected to the landscape design, irrigation and related works.Coordinate with Parsons' design Designers for resolution of related concerns.Direct, assist and monitor the performance of the construction team servicing the supervision of the construction of the landscaping, irrigation and associated jobs.Coordinate with client/PMC, the Contractor and relevant concerned authorities.Normally manage, review, monitor as well as report on the progress of the landscaping, irrigation as well as connected jobs.Liaise with all parties for site safety.Assemble and chair regular site conferences about issues associated with landscaping work and related activities.Issue additional drawings as required in synchronization with the design office.Ensure accuracy and completeness of records.Adhere to safety, health and risk management requirements.Provide all essential on-site instructions and issue site guidelines for landscape, irrigation and other related activities.Ensure accuracy and efficiency of 'as-built' drawings in the area of responsibility.Participate in contract management.QualificationsBachelor's degree in architectural engineering.Minimum 15 years experience in design as well as building supervision of landscape projects, ideally in the UAE.Experience in large-scale projects is required.Proven capability to perform in an administrative/management role.Outstanding written and oral communication skills.Additional InformationLocation: Abu Dhabi, UAE.
