Senior 3D CAD Designer (LAHAB)

About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Senior 3D CAD Designer to support product development, engineering change implementation, and production activities. The role ensures the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of all technical design data throughout the product lifecycle.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop detailed 2D drawings and 3D CAD models based on engineering concepts, calculations, and design inputsPrepare manufacturing-ready drawings, including dimensions, tolerances, materials, finishes, and Bills of Materials (BOM)Apply company drafting standards, GD&T, ISO standards, and quality requirementsUpdate and revise drawings in accordance with approved Engineering Change Requests (ECRs)Ensure all drawings comply with engineering, regulatory, and configuration management standardsUpload, manage, and maintain drawing documentation within the PLM systemSupport prototype development and production by resolving drawing-related technical queriesCollaborate with engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and quality teams to ensure design intent is maintainedInterface with suppliers on technical drawing and design clarifications when requiredEnsure compliance with all Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) instructions and approved safe working proceduresInternal and External InteractionInternal: Engineering & Development (E&D) and cross-functional teamsExternal: SuppliersTechnical and Functional SkillsAdvanced knowledge of product designSpecialist-level proficiency in 3D CAD modelling softwareSpecialist understanding of engineering drawing standards and GD&TIntermediate knowledge of PLM and ERP systemsAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applicationsCustomer and community focusStrong negotiation, influence, and communication skillsProactive problem-solver with sound decision-making abilityResults-oriented with a strong sense of urgencyExcellent planning and organizational skills with a “can-do” mindsetHigh levels of accountability, ethics, and professionalismStrong teamwork and cultural alignmentPreferred QualificationsDiploma or Technical Certification in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or a related fieldExperience Requirements5–8 years of experience as a Senior 3D CAD Designer in a product development, engineering, or manufacturing environmentExperience working within formalized engineering and configuration management environmentsProven experience supporting structured engineering change processesWhy Join UsYou will work in a structured engineering environment with opportunities to contribute across the full product lifecycle, collaborating with experienced professionals on technically challenging and meaningful projects.#J-18808-Ljbffr
