Job Title: SAP FICO Functional ConsultantLocation: Remote (Eastern Europe / India / Egypt preferred)Contract Duration: 12 Months (6 months implementation + 6 months support)Industry: Retail (SAP S/4HANA IS Retail)Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Functional Consultant to support a major SAP S/4HANA (IS Retail) transformation programme. This role will focus on delivering and supporting end-to-end financial processes within a retail environment, ensuring seamless integration between finance, POS, and operational systems.You will work closely with business stakeholders, finance teams, and technical consultants to ensure accurate financial reporting, reconciliation, and system performance across multiple retail locations.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and support SAP FICO functional activities within S/4HANA IS RetailConfigure and manage:General Ledger (GL)Accounts Payable (AP)Accounts Receivable (AR)Asset Accounting and Financial ClosingSupport financial transactions linked to retail operations and POS systemsEnsure accurate financial reconciliation across showrooms, regions, and business unitsCollaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate into functional specificationsSupport integration with:SAP SD (sales transactions)SAP MM (procurement and inventory postings)POS and retail systemsParticipate in full implementation lifecycle:Blueprint / designConfigurationTesting (SIT/UAT)Go-live and hypercareProvide post-go-live support and issue resolutionEnsure financial data integrity, compliance, and governanceWork closely with technical teams (ABAP, CPI) for enhancements and integrationsKey Requirements10+ years’ experience as an SAP FICO Functional ConsultantStrong experience in SAP S/4HANA (mandatory)Mandatory: IS Retail experienceMinimum 3 end-to-end SAP implementationsStrong expertise in:Financial accounting and reportingRetail financial processes and POS integrationMulti-entity financial reconciliationAbility to work independently and manage data governance responsibilitiesStrong stakeholder management and communication skillsPreferred SkillsExperience with retail financial reporting tools (e.g. ClickSense or similar)Exposure to large-scale transformation programmesUnderstanding of integration across finance, retail, and supply chain systemsArabic language skills (preferred but not essential)Additional InformationFully remote role within a global delivery teamWorking on a high-impact SAP retail transformation programmeImmediate start preferred (mid-April)Opportunity to contribute across both implementation and support phases#J-18808-Ljbffr
