Restaurant Hostess

Purpose of PositionTo provide an appropriate welcome at F&B Outlets for guests. To handle table reservations and effectively control the flow of guests.Key Roles & ResponsibilitiesProvide a warm and friendly welcome leading guests and seating them at their tableTake telephone bookings and maintain a clear and organized reservations bookAssist in the set‑up of tables and displaysMaintain and update guest databaseTo ensure full knowledge and understanding of فشار و لال از LQA and Hotel Standards and to implement them in all interactionsBe attentive to guests and resolve their complaints where possible reporting all incidents to Supervisor/Assistant Manager/ManagerTo undertake service training lead by the outlet DT/ Supervisor/Assistant Manager/Manager to ensure full capability in understanding and executing service standardsTo make/maintain all food/beverage labels for daily rotations of the buffet and working closely with the culinary team to update changes including last minute requests for the buffetTo ensure that all reports related to the outlet are well maintained and completed as per schedule and in a timely mannerTo support the service team during times of need/crunch in service in the following areas but not limited to: section holding coffee station back area and mis oordeel etc.Maintain cleanliness of hostess station and surrounding areas as well as of all menusMaintain good working relationship with own colleagues and all other departmentsCorrect preparation of all necessary operational material in the back officeLearn safety sanitation and hygiene policiesPresent check to guests and perform cashiering function if neededEffectively control guest flow in the restaurant ensuring maximum turnoverAssist in carrying out quarterly bi‑yearly yearly inventory of operating equipmentTrain waitstaff and bus staff in hostess standardsEnsure the restaurant is ready to receive guests prior to opening and that both wait staff and tables are ready in line with opening standardsCarry out any other duties as and when assigned by the Management of the HotelAssist other Food & Beverage Outlets in their operations within peak times when neededOpportunisticQualificationsPersonal AttributesExcellent reading writing and oral proficiency in EnglishWell‑presented and professionally groomed at وژلStrong interpersonal skills and able to establish a good rapport with guestsPossess full knowledge of restaurants seating/table planComputer knowledge (Microsoft Excel Word PowerPoint)QualificationsSecondary educationExperience1 year Hotel experience in F&B or other related industries with transferable skillsPrevious public contact and/or ánh cashiering experienceAdditional InformationRaffles Dubai Sheikh Rashid Road Wafi 121800 Dubai United Arab EmiratesRemote WorkNoEmployment TypeFull-time#J-18808-Ljbffr
