Reporting to the Restaurant Assistant Manager/Restaurant Manager, this role plays a crucial part in maintaining high service standards, managing the host team, and contributing to the overall success of the restaurant.ResponsibilitiesGuest Experience and Team ManagementWarmly greet and welcome guests, making them feel valued and appreciated from the moment they arrive.Efficiently manage the seating of guests, ensuring optimal table utilization and minimizing wait times.Monitor and maintain the ambiance and cleanliness of the restaurant's front‑of‑house areas.Provide excellent customer service, address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, and elevate issues to the Restaurant Assistant Manager as needed.Lead, train, and supervise the hostess team, ensuring they adhere to the hotel's service standards and provide consistent, attentive service.Assist in scheduling and managing the host team's shifts, breaks, and time‑off requests.Collaborate with the Restaurant Assistant Manager and other departments to ensure seamless coordination and communication.Maintain accurate guest profiles in the reservation system, recording preferences, special occasions, seating requests, and dietary/allergen requirements.Update guest notes after each visit and communicate key details to the floor team to ensure personalized, consistent service.Operations and Administrative SupportMaintain accurate records of reservations, waitlists, seating assignments and guest preferences.Monitor table turnovers and dining times to optimize the flow of guests and maximize revenue.Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment of front‑of‑house supplies.#J-18808-Ljbffr
