Haradh - Riyad region, Saudi Arabia | Posted on 12/14/2025The Renewable Energy Engineer will be responsible for the technical execution, and support of distributed renewable energy projects, including rooftop solar, C&I ground‑mounted systems (1–50MW). The role involves design, feasibility studies, EPC coordination, installation supervision, and O&M support.While the primary focus will be on solar PV projects, the engineer will also help the company build capabilities in battery energy storage (BESS), wind energy, hydrogen, and hybrid power systems, ensuring adaptability for future expansion.DescriptionConduct site surveys and solar resource assessments for rooftop and ground‑mounted projects.Prepare technical proposals, preliminary designs, BOQs, and yield estimations.Support business development with technical inputs for tenders and client discussions.Support Engineering team in preparation of detailed electrical and structural designs for rooftop and medium‑scale ground‑mounted PV systems.Ensure compliance with SEC grid requirements, local authority regulations, and international standards.Evaluate and select PV modules, inverters, structures, and monitoring systems.Support EPC tendering, evaluation of subcontractors, and technical vendor selection.Review shop drawings, material submittals, and oversee installation quality.Provide on‑site technical support during construction, testing, and commissioning.Support development of monitoring strategies for performance optimization.Maintain as‑built drawings and O&M manuals.Build knowledge and technical capability in BESS, hybrid systems, hydrogen, and small wind applications.Stay updated with new renewable technologies and standards.RequirementsTechnical Knowledge in electrical systems, renewable energy & solar components.Microsoft Project, Primavera, AutoCAD, PVsyst, or similar tools.Solar PV system design (grid‑tied, rooftop, ground‑mounted).Communication: Ability to explain complex concepts to clients and stakeholders.Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies for solar installations.Design and model PV systems using industry-standard software (e.g., PVsyst, Helioscope).Support Engineering team to create detailed engineering plans and technical documentation.Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to ensure successful project execution.Ensure compliance with relevant codes, safety standards, and regulations.Monitor performance and support maintenance of installed systems.Practical experience with rooftop and ground‑mounted PV design and installation.#J-18808-Ljbffr
