Location & ExperienceAbu Dhabi Municipality – 2 to 6 years of experience.Bangalore Urban – 5 to 9 years of experience.ResponsibilitiesPrepares clinical and progress notes, coordinates services, works as liaison between treating physician and other personnel regarding changes in the client's condition and family members.Counsels clients and families in meeting nursing and related needs, participates in in‑service programs, and supervises and teaches other nursing personnel.Monitors and records vital signs and reports abnormal values to treating physicians.Administers prescribed medications.Monitors intravenous infusions and parenteral therapies.Provides care to clients with tracheostomy, gastrostomy, and colostomy.Performs nursing care for clients with pacemaker, peritoneal dialysis, and ventilator support.Delivers nursing care to clients with hemiplegia, paraplegia, Bell’s palsy, cerebral palsy, terminal illnesses, and the elderly.Cares for newborns, pre‑ and post‑partum mothers.Provides care for physically challenged clients and those needing special care at home or educational facilities.Delivers simple exercises, assists ambulation, and accompanies clients to social gatherings, hospitals, other treatment facilities, and outdoor activities.Cares for patient wounds to prevent exacerbation of pressure ulcers.Reports and records medical events, procedures, and other medical parameters.Maintains records of patient care, condition, progress, and problems; reports and discusses observations with supervisors, case managers, or medical doctors.Provides direct nursing care to paediatric patients, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and preparing patients for procedures.Conducts comprehensive assessments of paediatric patients' physical, emotional, and developmental needs.Develops and implements individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.Educates patients and families on health issues, treatment plans, and post‑discharge care.Maintains accurate and up‑to‑date patient records and documentation.Supervises and mentors junior nursing staff and support staff in the paediatric ward.Participates in quality improvement initiatives and training programs.Responds to emergencies calmly and efficiently, providing appropriate care.Provides age‑specific patient‑centered care utilizing the nursing process.Performs patient assessment using appropriate, problem‑focused, and age‑specific assessment techniques.Conducts continual critical care assessment of patients and families' physical and psychological needs.Involves patients, significant others, and health care providers in the plan of care when appropriate.Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to provide patient care.Coordinates and plans critical care/clinical pathways and prioritizes care based on individual needs; revises care plans as necessary.Initiates appropriate transfer plans.Recognizes subtle cues to anticipate potential problems.Documents all relevant data in the medical record according to hospital/departmental standards.Ensures availability and maintenance of supplies and equipment needed for the unit and patient care.Performs clerical duties when needed.Assumes responsibility for meeting Joint Commission International Accreditation (JCIA) mandatory education requirements (e.g., fire, safety, infection control).Participates in staff meetings and unit committees/projects.Participates in developing and achieving unit goals.Maintains a safe environment for patients and staff.Performs safe handling and administration of narcotic/controlled and semi‑controlled drugs, documenting as directed by policies and procedures.Ensures completion of unit competencies, such as pain management and utilization of emergency department devices.Maintains clinical and professional competency based on the latest research and established standards of practice.Completes yearly critical care nursing competencies (basic).Participates in unit‑based continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities (data collection, CQI teams, incident reporting, customer complaint reporting, medication error reporting, etc.).Participates in ongoing educational activities.Maintains mandatory educational requirements.Performs additional duties when required.#J-18808-Ljbffr
