Quantity Surveyor (Drainage & water network)The Quantity Surveyor will work on projects involving stormwater & drainage, flood alleviation, wastewater networks, water distribution networks and pumping station recycling plant. The role will include investigations, planning, design, tendering, contract administration, construction supervision and monitoring. Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.Prepare and manage cost planning, quantity take‑offs and bills of quantities for estimating, tender and contract document production.Produce reports and evaluate/negotiated claims, including variations and new rates.Assist the Resident Engineer on commercial matters and prepare/submit interim payment applications to maximize cashflow.Coordinate to ensure contractual requirements are complied with and subcontract final accounts agreed.Conduct field inspections under the supervision of the Technical Lead and Client Engineer representatives.Work with engineers to solve design problems and perform basic design calculations.Liaise with remote teams worldwide to facilitate task and project completion.Maintain accurate measurement, identification and measurement of variations; produce and agree final accounts and additional cost claims.Deliver client service management: internal and external client liaison, build and maintain lasting relationships.Follow safe work practices, comply with company guidelines and policies, and work in line with Stantec Core Values and Quality Systems.Other duties as requested by the Resident Engineer.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying and at least 10 years of experience in drainage and water network projects.Work Location: United Arab Emirates – Abu DhabiEmployment Type: Full‑time (Regular)Job Category: Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveyor#J-18808-Ljbffr
