Project TypeBrownfield | EPC | PMC | Petrochemical Plant | Turnaround (TA) | FurnacesRequirements/QualificationBachelor’s degree in mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering16+ years of experience in QA/QC within ethylene/petrochemical plants (EPC/PMC execution)Prior Saudi Arabia project experience is a MUSTProven expertise in brownfield quality management, furnace installation, and equipment modificationsFamiliarity with DCS/ESD/SIS interfaces and turnaround (TA) quality controlsExcellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skillsResponsibilitiesBe the ambassador to ensure all staff from partner organizations follow safety proceduresEstablishes the Project Quality Management System in accordance with the tenets and guidelines of ISO 9000 Standard.Develops the process for the establishment, review and approval of project specifications/procedures by the Project Team Managers and SpecialistsLeads the internal Audits for all the processes and procedures of the development phase activitiesEnsures that the EC Contractors Program for QA and QC has been fully developed and is being implemented by regular auditing.Ensures that all matters relating to quality requirements and processes are strictly adhered to in accordance with the Contract, Specifications, National and International Codes and Standards, Regulations, etc.Establishes the Engineering and Procurement Documentation Turnover requirementsEstablishes relationship and liaise with Partner QA Organizations to ensure common goals and objectivesSchedules and executes Internal Audits of Project Procedures and Contractor’s facilities.Where Non Conformity/Corrective Actions have not been resolved, ensures that these NCRs / CARs shall be brought to the attention of the Project Manager.Alerts Project Management about potential problems, undesirable trends and foreseen risks.Directs and Manages the activities of the QA and QC Specialists/Inspectors for the project.Ensures that EC Contractor Site QA Management System is in place and is being implementedRevises and establishes as appropriate Project’s Construction proceduresDirects and manages the Project’s Construction QA and QC ActivitiesEstablishes the Project’s Construction activities Audit programEstablishes the Construction, Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning and Start-up Documentation turnover requirementsAudits the EC Contractor and Sub-Contractors (as applicable) QA programs and proceduresInstigates and Coordinates Third Party Inspection and Consultants visits as appropriateFollows up on the resolution of NCR’s and Corrective ActionsSupports Construction and Operation in the Punch-list close out reportsAudits Vendor’s Data PackagesParticipates in the Project’s Close-out reportParticipates in the Lesson learned gathering sessions#J-18808-Ljbffr
