QS Section Head

Job Description - QS Section Head (2600004Y)Lead the QS team in managing all commercial and contractual matters for ongoing and upcoming projects.Identify, analyze, and mitigate commercial risks and opportunities.Review and administer main contracts and subcontracts in accordance with contractual terms and conditions.Manage variations, claims, counterclaims, extensions of time (EOT), and final accounts.Ensure timely preparation and submission of interim payment applications and final accounts.Support contract negotiations with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.Review subcontractor and supplier commercial offers and participate in commercial evaluations.Oversee subcontract agreements, payment certifications, and variations.Coordinate closely with procurement and project teams to ensure commercial compliance.Approve variation claims before submission to QS Manager.Monitor client and subcontractor payment processes.Ensure compliance with contract terms and proper documentation.Provide guidance and technical support to team leaders and engineers.Implement departmental procedures within the section.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Electrical or MEP.Minimum 12+ years of QS experience with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.Professional certification preferred.Strong technical QS knowledge.Leadership and coordination skills.Contract administration expertise.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Proficiency in QS tools and reporting systems.Primary LocationUnited Arab Emirates/Abu Dhabi/Head Office/Guardian Towers - Power UAEJob PostingMar 1, 2026, 11:54:20 AMMain Function: Project Control Company Name: El Sewedy Power UAE Business Group#J-18808-Ljbffr
