The role focuses on inspection verification and quality assurance of piping systems to ensure full compliance with project specifications applicable codes and client requirements during installation testing and commissioning phases.Key ResponsibilitiesReview and verify P&IDs isometrics and test packages against installed piping systemsInspect pipe routing size material grade orientation and installation accuracyCheck pipe supports hangers guides and spring supports as per approved drawingsVerify installation of valves fittings flanges gaskets bolts reducers and strainersInspect weld quality ensure weld maps are updated and verify NDE records and traceabilityConfirm piping systems are mechanically complete and ready for hydrotesting or reinstatementInspect flange connections gasket selection bolt material alignment and orientationVerify torque/tensioning procedures tightening sequence lubrication and tolerancesWitness and inspect hydrostatic and pneumatic testing including leak checks and line walk-downsEnsure all inspection reports and documentation are completed accurately and on timeRequirementsDiploma in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline35 years of QC piping inspection experience in Oil & Gas projectsStrong knowledge of piping materials isometrics welding and testing proceduresFamiliarity with ASME API and ISO standardsCSWIP ASNT or API certification is preferredExcellent attention to detail with strong reporting and documentation skillsGood communication and coordination skills to work with multidisciplinary teams#J-18808-Ljbffr
