They are responsible forperforming inspections on subcontractor’s activities assuring the conformityto site inspection plans and applicable engineering.They report to the construction manager.Duties and responsibilitiesToensure the implementation of all the Quality/HSE procedures andstandards for the areas or activities (subcontractors) ofresponsibilities, together with the other members of Quality/HSE teams;Tosupport the Construction Material Controller in checking the Supplier’smaterial prior to the start of works;Toaddress Subcontractor activities for his/her own discipline, ensuringthat Plant Construction works are performed according to the applicableengineering specification, site procedures and Site Inspection Planaccording to Quality & Safety procedures, as well as according tothe terms and conditions of the subcontractTocheck that the manpower employed by the Subcontractor continuouslyrespect the requirements of applicable procedures and the Quality levelfixed by the same.Tocheck that the equipment employed by the Subcontractor are adequate andcalibrated as required according to applicable procedures and to theQuality level fixed by the sameTocheck that the works performed by the Subcontractor conform to theapplicable documents, Safety regulations, and to the Quality level fixedby the same, in coordination with the other members of Quality/HSEteams;Toinform the Site Engineer to make the necessary changes when detects anydesign errors;Topromote the non-conformity draft and informs the Construction Manager,supporting them in the nonconformity resolution;Keepingthe Construction Manager informed, receive the Request of Inspectionfrom Subcontractors and confirm to proceed with the inspection informingthe Client, assume the responsibility in case of Client’s (motivated)rejection of the inspection taking care of remedial action and avoidingthe repetition of similar case in future.Person SpecificationKnowledge & QualificationsUniversity Degree orDiploma in relevant discipline orequivalent.ExperienceSignificant experience in the industrialconstruction of large or XL gas plants.Covered a similar role in at least 2-3 projects ofcomparable size.A minimum of 12 years of relevant experience.Skills and AbilitiesExcellent communications andinterpersonal skillsAttention to detail, management skills.Team-oriented skills, self-motivation,and direction, with strong bias toward timely performance and problemresolution.#J-18808-Ljbffr
