QA/QC Manager (Mechanical)

Preparation and implementation of the Project Quality Plan (PQP).Preparation and coordination of Method Statements for construction activities.Development and submission of Inspection & Test Plans (ITP) for client/consultant approval in accordance with TAQA Transmission requirements.Preparation and control of welding documentation including WPS, PQR and WQT.Monitoring and control of material quality processes, including Material Inspection Reports (MIR), Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT).Coordination and management of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) activities.Preparation and maintenance of welding traceability records, including weld logs and weld maps.Ensuring all inspection and testing activities comply with project specifications and procedures approved by TAQATransmission.SkillsStrong experience preparing and implementing Project Quality Plans (PQP) and coordinating Method Statements for construction activities.Proven ability to develop, submit, and manage Inspection & Test Plans (ITP) and inspection hold/witness points for Client/Consultant approval in line with TAQA Transmission requirements.Solid welding QA/QC expertise, including control of WPS, PQR, WQT and welding documentation.Hands‑on management of material quality processes: MIR, FAT, and SAT planning, witnessing, reporting, and close‑out.Strong capability to coordinate and supervise NDT activities (e.g., PT/PAUT/RT) and validate reports against acceptance criteria.Excellent weld traceability management (weld logs, weld maps, traceability records) ensuring full compliance to project specs and approved procedures.Competent in NCR/CAR handling, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and quality records control.Effective stakeholder communication and leadership across site teams, subcontractors, and client/consultant interfaces.#J-18808-Ljbffr
